This is my interpretation of the traditional Southeast Asian sarong kebaya worn by Muslim women in Indonesia and Malaysia. The kebaya (blouse) has black orchid motifs while the sarong is updated by this skirt made with panne velvet. The kebaya is held together by three gloden brooches.
